Be Fashionably Bold

Another BlackBerry event, but this time in collaboration with ZALORA. When technology and fashion meets.

They invited everyday BlackBerry users, dressed with ZALORA’s latest collection, and armed with the latest BlackBerry devices.

The event itself was lively and the vibe was great. Seeing BlackBerry fans everywhere. Hosted by Paul Foster, the event started with a short intro by Charles Dufourcq, Country Director for BlackBerry Singapore. Followed by a down right hilarious stand-up by Kumar. I am sure most Singaporeans will know how funny this guy is. The of course was the main event.

I am honestly not that into fashion so i shall not venture into unknown territory. But what I can tell you is that the event itself was really quite fun. The wine and booze of course really helped. Contrary to what the New York Times was reporting about BlackBerry users being embarrassed, this hardly look like the case at all. 70% of people I see were proudly wielding their BlackBerry devices in their hands. I even spotted a P’9981. As you can see from the photos below, the turnout was great too.



There were a couple of giveaways to the attendees, which included a BlackBerry Music Gateway, Bold 9790, and of course, a special edition Gold BlackBerry Bold 9900.

Of course, sadly, it wasn’t me who walked away with it. Here is our lucky winner. Probably the only official Gold BlackBerry Bold 9900 in Singapore. But it does looks pretty damn exclusive.
